You can read for yourself, but to summarize in a nutshell: some guy’s girlfriend was having an affair, bringing her lover back to an apartment she shared with her boyfriend. Unfortunately for her, she was talking while with her lover, and his parrot began repeating things she said, like “I love you Gary.”

Apparently it took the guy a while to notice that his parrot was mimicking his girlfriend’s voice, and realize that his name was not in fact Gary, at which point he confronted her about it and got a confession. He dumped the girl, but the funniest part is that he had to eventually give up the parrot, because it wouldn’t stop saying Gary’s name, doing its best impression of his ex-girlfriend’s voice.

This story has made me appreciate that my cats can’t talk. The last thing I need is my pets revealing my secrets.
